This week I have focused on refining my skills and making sure that the solving is down to muscle memory. I have spent some time thinking about what my presentation will be about, and I think most of it will be focused around perseverance when frustration strikes. Anyways, I want to thank you all for following me on my Rubik's cube quest, and I hope I have inspired you to solve one in the future!

I can now solve the entire cube without the help of a guide! As stated earlier, the last couple of algorithms were extremely lengthy and required some memorization. When I started on this journey, I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do this. I was very frustrated in the early beginnings, but I kept working at it. That's the cool thing about genius hour. There's no giving up when you get frustrated. You must persevere in order to finish the project no matter what it takes. This project has taught me a lot about myself and showed me that I am capable of learning a difficult task by myself without any help from others. I am proud of myself for learning this skill. I hope that you experienced similar feelings after completing your project!

I am now able to solve the entire yellow side without the use of a guide! This was a fairly difficult process that took the memorization of a couple different algorithms that corresponded with various possibilities that could occur. Now that I am done with this, I will need to memorize the final two algorithms. Once this is complete, the remainder of my genius hour will be spent finding ways to solve the cube faster and more efficiently.
